Roann Limited are the only dedicated high-rise residential and house builder worktop suppliers and installers in the UK. We have an established customer base with some of the largest house builders and contractors in the country such as Taylor Wimpey and Vistry Partnerships.
Based at our factory in Wakefield, we have over 30 years experience in manufacturing and installing worktops. Our purpose-built factory has over £1.5m worth of state-of-the-art manufacturing machines and equipment enabling us to fabricate 15,000 worktops per year. In addition, we are proud to have achieved high accreditation with many of the industry’s leading health & safety schemes.

Our History
Roann Welcomes New Apprentices
As part of our commitment to nurturing talent and future-proofing the workforce, Roann employs Alfie Barron as a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprentice and Gabriella Thompson as a Level 3 Business Administrator.
Enhanced Marketing Support
Relaunch of the Roann brand with increased marketing support to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
Factory Upgrades
Investment in new machinery, factory upgrades to increase efficiency and workflow.
Constructionline Gold Accreditation
Demonstrating our commitment to industry standards and risk management, Roann received the Constructionline Gold Accreditation in May 2021.
Digital Templating
Moved to fully digital templates for all works and further investment in state-of-the-art machinery.
Safe Contractor Accreditation
Roann continues to prioritise exceptional health, safety and product quality standards. In 2018, Roann was awarded the Safe Contractor Accreditation.
High-Rise Residential Projects
Roann begin to work on high-rise residential projects in 2018. We’re now proudly partnered with some of the UK’s most prominent names in house building and contracting, including Taylor Wimpey and Berkeley Group.
Introduction of New Machinery
Due to increasing demand, Roann invests over £100K in more innovative machinery by purchasing a new CNC machine.
Next Generation of Family
Family members Becky and Joe South joined Roann. Today, Becky Jeffery is the Logistical Coordinator, and Joe South is the Production Director. Both are heavily involved in the running of the day-to-day business, which allows us to fabricate 15,000 worktops per year.
Move to Larger Premises
Due to the increasing demand for quartz worktops, Roann moved to the current factory in Wakefield.
Quartz Worktops
In 1999, the industry expanded and quartz worktops were introduced into our market.
Worktop Manufacture
Roann begins to manufacture worktops for kitchens in the Bradford factory.
Opening of Roann Business
Roann Limited is formed by Roger and Ann South. The first factory is located in Bradford where we began manufacturing fireplaces and surrounds.
